Marietta Softball Classic featuring City police and fire personnel planned for Saturday, April 27th

On April 27th in Marietta, Georgia, the brave men and women of Marietta Fire, Marietta Police, Smyrna Police and Smyrna Fire will face off in the inaugural Marietta Softball Classic.  The charity tournament event will be hosted by 6-4-3 DP Athletics at Aviation Sports Complex in Marietta (455 Aviation Road, Marietta, GA 30060).  The Marietta Softball Classic is a fun, one day, tournament event benefiting the following charitable organizations:

Fire Safety Village

Families to Families

Smyrna Police Explorer Group

Smyrna Public Safety Foundation

All event proceeds and collected donations will be distributed between the four designated charities (listed above).  All four teams will be competing for the winner’s share of the collected donations to fund their chosen charity partner.  Games will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, April 27 at the Aviation Sports Complex.

There are two important ways that the Marietta community can support this positive event.  First, corporations and individuals can donate financial support to this event (in support the four worthy charities) by calling the 6-4-3 offices at 678.354.3199.  Second, the public is invited to attend the softball tournament and cheer on the officers and fire personnel from the great cities of Marietta and Smyrna.  Whether through a financial donation or with your presence in the stands on April 27, please consider supporting the Marietta Softball Classic benefitting Fire Safety Village, Families to Families, Smyrna Police Explorer Group and Smyrna Public Safety Foundation.
