6-4-3 DP Athletics helps with spring cleaning of Boys and Girls Club baseball field in Marietta

On February 20, 2013, members of the 6-4-3 DP Athletics staff made a visit to the Boys and Girls Club of Marietta.  Representing 6-4-3, Danny Pralgo, Jay Andrews, Nelson Pedraza, Matt Hightower, and Taylor Hightower performed spring cleaning tasks and grooming to the baseball field at the Boys and Girls Club facility.  After the field work session was completed, lines on the field were edged, the dirt and grass lip was improved, the dugouts were cleaned, the batter’s and catcher’s boxes were leveled, low levels in the dirt area were repaired, and grass was removed from the pathways and baselines.  The field at the Boys and Girls Club in Marietta is looking sharp just in time for the upcoming baseball season.

Nelson Pedraza, facility and maintenance manager for 6-4-3, commented on the effort, “It was a privilege for me and the other 6-4-3 staff members to lend a helping hand to the Boys and Girls Club. Every kid deserves to play on a nice field.  The Boys and Girls Club field is ready for spring action.”  6-4-3 would like to thank the Executive Director of the B&GC in Marietta, Lauren Odom, for coordinating the opportunity.  In addition, 6-4-3 would like to thank ProCore Solutions for their generous support of our community outreach programs.
