Kent Emanuel- LHP/6’4”/225/Jr. (University of North Carolina)

6-4-3 DP Baseball - Class of 2010

Kent played a huge part in the success that the 2010 6-4-3 DP Baseball program had.  Kent was drafted after that summer in the 19th round of the MLB Draft (567th overall pick) by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Although getting drafted, Kent accepted a college scholarship to play at the prestigious University of North Carolina. In his freshman year, he put up numbers that earned him a spot on the Baseball America Freshman All-American team. He went 9-1 and threw a complete game shutout against the University of Texas in the NCAA College World Series. In his sophomore campaign, Kent earned the right to be UNC’s Friday night starter where he compiled an 8-4 record and 1.96 ERA to go along with a team leading 100 strikeouts. Kent’s outings his sophomore year earned him a spot on the 2013 Pre-Season All-American team. This year (2013) he has accumulated an astonishing 7-1 record with a 1.92 ERA in 70 innings of work. Prior to the season, Kent was placed on the Golden Spikes Watch List, the most significant honor in college baseball.

Graham Officer- RHP/6’2”/175/Fr. (Jacksonville State University)

6-4-3 DP Baseball - Class of 2012

Graham played a key role as a member of the pitching staff last year for the 6-4-3 DP Cougars (18U) squad. Officer attended Milton High School where he was All-Region honoree his junior year and helped lead the team to back to back Region Championships in 2011 (22-6) and 2012 (25-3). As a freshman at Jacksonville State University, Graham has played a major role in the Gamecock bullpen. Graham is second on the team in appearances (16) and has a 1-0 record with one save and carries a respectable 3.68 ERA. His production as a freshman at the Division I level shows not only his dedication to competing at a high level, but also signifies his bright future on the mound at Jacksonville State University.

Kyle Royalty- LHP/6’0”/175/Fr. (Birmingham Southern College)

6-4-3 DP Baseball - Class of 2012

Kyle was also an important piece on the 2012 6-4-3 DP Cougars (18U) pitching staff. As a senior, Kyle was a standout at Fellowship Christian High School where he led the team in wins, ERA, strikeouts and innings pitched. After his senior campaign, Kyle went on to play at Birmingham Southern College. As a freshman, Kyle started off well by the first two of three starts.  After being sidelined due to an early setback, Kyle bounced back with some productive innings off the mound for the Panthers. Since then, he has accumulated an impressive freshman campaign with a 3-2 record with a 3.18 ERA in 28.1 innings pitched. In his last outing on April 16th, Kyle pitched two stellar innings allowing no runs while striking out three batters.
