6-4-3 DP Baseball teams show well during Triple Crown US Club Nationals

Marietta, Georgia 

In its inaugural year, 6-4-3 DP Baseball finished tied for third place for the organizational cup in the Triple Crown U.S. Club Nationals tournament held in Marietta, Georgia.  Five (5) 6-4-3 DP Baseball teams competed in the US Club Nationals against the most competitive organizations in the country: Beaver Valley Baseball (Ellwood City, PA), Dallas Patriots (Dallas, TX), Dallas Tigers (Dallas, TX), East Cobb Baseball (Marietta, GA), Motor City Hit Dogs (Rochester Hills, MI), Mound Time Baseball (Portland, OR), Richmond Braves (Richmond, VA), SBA Canes (Matthews, NC) and Showtime Baseball (Puyallup, WA).  6-4-3 DP Baseball teams finished with two first place finishes, a fourth place finish, a seventh place finish and an eighth place finish in the respective age groups.  A special congratulations to the 6-4-3 players and coaches in the 11U and 12U age groups who won their respective championships in a talent rich field of competitors.  Congratulations also to 6-4-3 12U team member, Bryson Jackson, who was named after the tournament to the Triple Crown All-America Team.

Tournament Information/Details:

The US Club Nationals will be held July 20-23, 2016, at the East Cobb Sports Complex and the Aviation Sports Complex in Marietta, Georgia. Triple Crown Sports has offered exclusive invitations to the country’s most highly skilled and rigorously organized baseball clubs to participate, where each club will send 4-6 teams, ages 9u-14u.

Teams compete in their division for the age-group title, but the final standings in all divisions will be factored into determining the TCS Organization National Champion.
